Macaroni pie

A macaroni pie mainly known as baked macaroni and cheese is an original dish found in Scottish cuisine and because of the Scottish ancestry of the South United States, it has become a Southern American Traditional Dish. In Scotland, a macaroni pie is an open pie containing macaroni and cheese, often derided for being characteristic of the stodginess of much Scottish cuisine[1]. In Barbados it is a dish similar to macaroni and cheese.
